We recommend creating a separate Zotero library for a dedicated project which will need accurate duplication numbers. If you have multiple projects, the duplicates will reflect them all. Instead, it will identify duplicates within your entire library. Zotero cannot detect duplicates within a selected folder. To search tags, use the search box in the task bar. You must have an item selected in the folder contents pane. To add a tag to an item, select the Tags tab in the metadata pane.
Creating tags allows you to search your library with the keyword. Adding Tags to ReferencesĪdd tags to your citations with a keyword of your choosing to make them more easily findable.
Click the folder icon in the task bar to create and name a new collection. A single item is allowed to be in multiple collections at once. Zotero will allow you to create collections and sub-collections from the folder organization pane. The metadata for the selected item will appear on the right. Note that the folder organization appears on the left, while the folder contents appear in the middle.
